Nina Bråten wasn’t born into the typical “equestrian family” but discovered riding personally at the age of twelve. After getting her own pony and starting to ride at a local riding school for trainer Stein Endresen, she was hooked.

Since then riding has been a major part of Nina’s life, and she has a whole host of titles to prove it! These include Gold in the Scandinavian Championship individually and as part of a team and Victory at the Norway Grand Prix CSIO4* Drammen 2005. She also claimed first place at the Nations Cup CSIO4* in Poznan, eighth place at Verdenscup CSI 5* in Dortmund and Bronse i the World Championships for hingster med Favoritas, to name but a few achievements.

“I have been motivated throughout by riders such as Marcus Ehning and Meredith Michaels Beerbaum, and my parents- especially my father are individuals that have meant an enormous amount for my career, along with Stein Endresen and Bo Kristoffersen.

Nina currently lives in Drøbak, Norway with her partner and two children, Birk and Ada,
